Associate attorney
Britney joined The Law Office of Erin M. Wilson, LLC as an Associate Attorney in 2025 after practicing family law and probate for five years. She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she focused on family law and advocacy. During her time in law school, she was an active participant and board member of many organizations and teams, including her stead as the National Secretary of the National Black Law Student’s Association during their 50th anniversary year and mentoring high schoolers in the Street Law program.
Britney began her journey in family law during her teenage years, when her grandparents adopted her and her twin sister. From there, Britney focused on building skills to provide effective and empathetic counsel and advocacy to her clients. At Northern Illinois University she graduated with a degree in Sociology and Minor in Women’s Studies focusing on qualitative research and children’s rights and continues to focus on a thorough understanding of the ever-changing legal system to best help her clients.
Her trial advocacy skills, empathy and compassion, and research abilities make her a valuable asset to the practice of family law.
Britney acts as the current Secretary and Mentor for I Am Abel Law, NFP., which acts as a mentorship and pipeline program for students of color in high school and college, to help prepare for law school. In her free time, Britney enjoys various physical and mental pursuits and is an active member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
